How Much Do Specialty Films Cost?

When "specialty" is in the name, you know it's not cheap! Because these films require special equipment to manufacture or produce, careful and specific installation requirements, and in some cases, low-voltage power to operate, these films can get very expensive. Obviously, there are many factors that go into pricing your specific project, but just for ballpark expectations: switchable film typically ranges from $40-$75 per SqFt, pattern film ranges from $35-$55 per SqFt, cloaking film ranges from $75-$105 per SqFt, and custom graphics perforated vinyl ranges anywhere betwen $25-$45 SqFt. *These prices include standard installation costs*

Switchable film requires a power source to activate the film, either on or off, depending on the type. A project with this type of film can get very costly due to the specialty film and the power source requirements.
This is a popular option for schools, businesses, and public offices. One-way viz perf vinyl allows your design to be seen from the outside while not obstructing an outside view for those inside.
Cloaking film allows full transperancy of interior movement but blocks outsiders from seeing any media being displayed on screens. Let outsiders know you're in an important meeting without revealing your top-secret displayed media.
